Tinnitus is the medical term for a person’s perception of an abnormal sound or noise, in one ear, both ears and/or the head. People who experience tinnitus may experience one or more of the following: a sound of buzzing, humming, music, whistling or rattling.

Treatment with conventional and alternative medicine will vary depending upon the cause of the tinnitus (wax build up, infection, injury etc), which can be different for each individual.

Long term tinnitus usually has no cure, but can be managed with the use of yoga therapy, sound and relaxation.
